Evaluate a device management deployment by three answers: where the service runs and who operates it, how it works beside the systems you already have, and how devices and data leave it. Otukan gives each answer in writing before rollout. You choose where management data is hosted, platform accounts stay in your organisation’s name, and every connection to your directory or existing tools is agreed and documented. The pages in this collection cover hosting, data control, existing management tools and security signals for Android and Apple phones and tablets.
Fleet scope
The devices in scope shape the deployment. A fleet of personal phones with work profiles needs different network reach and privacy settings from a site of dedicated scanners, and Android and Apple devices each depend on their own platform services. Otukan sizes each deployment to the ownership modes and platforms you actually run.
Operating model
Otukan separates three roles in every deployment: who hosts the service, who administers the fleet and who supports it. Each role is named per workflow, and policy authority stays with your administrators. Otukan also states which parts of the deployment it builds and operates and which depend on platform services.
| Topic | What you settle |
|---|---|
| Deployment options | Where the service runs and who operates it |
| Data sovereignty | Where fleet data lives and who may reach it |
| APIs and existing UEM | How Otukan works beside the tools you keep |
| Security integration | How device security signals reach management |
Lifecycle
A deployment is proven when an update, a credential renewal and a device release all run without surprises. Otukan agrees how each one is handled before the pilot starts, including how you export data and release devices at the end of the service.
